2011 Christmas Day is just around the corner. Have you prepared well to celebrate it? Maybe your schedules are filled with festivities. Whether you are shopping for party dresses 2011, decorations or food for the upcoming festival, you should make new hairstyles for Christmas parties.  Maybe Updo is good choice for this special occasion.  Here are some latest Christmas updos that will keep your hair looking good.

1. Top Buns

The top bun is a new hot trend for women. This updo hairstyle suits most face shapes but not all so if you have an oblong face shape you should avoid this hair style as it will only add additional length to your long face shape. Create the supersized bun on top of the head so it stands out and receives a lovely high volume look.

2. Loose Updos

Loose updos look elegant and suit for all hair types. These type of hiardos is a perfect choice for casual as well as formal occasions. The hair is gathered using the fingers towards the back and secured as desired using a hair elastic and some bobby pins. The hairs loose style will actually allow it to receive a hair volumizing effect which is perfect as hair volume is hot. Try to keep your loose updo simple and fabulous as simplicity is highly appreciated in 2011.

3. Sleek Ponytails

Consider the sexy, sophisticated ponytail.  This style works well for long or medium length hair. Use a flat iron to straighten your hair. Once your hair is sleek and straight, pull it into a mid height ponytail and use an elastic band to keep in place and wrap a thin piece of hair around the elastic band and hold it in place with a pin.  Spray the top with hairspray to keep fly-away down.   If you have shorter hair and want to make this style, you can  use hair extentions or a clip on pony tail to create the same long ponytail look.

4. Curly Updos

If you have curly hair, dry your hair naturally and scrunch your hair to ensure it has curls and volume. If you don’t have curly hair put your hair up in using a curling iron to make curls. Then pull of your hair to the crown of your head in small sections and secure with  pins. Let the curls fall naturally over the pins. After all of your hair is pinned up let the curls flow.

With such a latest hairdo and a beautiful special occasion dress you must be the party queen in the Christmas party.
